If you had a pet go deaf, please tell me what made you realize it. Are there tests a vet can do? I think my 13 year old beagle may be deaf, or close... When I call his name to come in, or walk past him while asleep, he won't hear me. When he turns around and SEES me, his face will change and then he will come to me. BUT-- he can still hear the can opener & comes running for that! I want people's personal experience so I can prepare myself.
