What is your opinion on women having a baby shower for every baby they have?

I'm currently 7w2d with baby #3 and i plan on having a baby shower because I see it as a celebration not just a way to get gifts. I have 2 little girls and after each one I pass down EVERYTHING to mommies in need. So I basically start from scratch each baby.
