Fetal Echodiagram on mo/di twins?

Has any body carrying mo/di twins been asked to have a fetal Echodiagram scan @ 22 weeks n beyond? My high risk doctor asked me to but also said everything was normal with anatomy scan But just wanted to be sure. This scan is just on the hearts!

In Australia they do that scan at 19 weeks, where they check heart, brain etc.

My twins are mo/di and we were told to get this done as well. Everything came out fine. Apparently mo/di babies are more likely to have heart defects so they screen for them in utero

I have one scheduled and no big risks have been detected...I'm a Type 1 diabetic, pre-existing to pregnancy so I think it's an extra precaution

I had that done a couple weeks ago. It got a little uncomfortable because it took about 45minutes! They want to check on the chambers and flow.

I'm getting one on March 7 when I'm 25 weeks with di/di twins. We got pregnant through IVF and my doc said there's an increased risk for heart defects with IVF babies.
