Tips to hide from friends?

Question

I'm in the camp of not revealing pregnancy until 12 weeks (including family). I have to find innovative ways to hide it given my girlfriends and I often indulge in "boozy brunch" every now and then. Any tips? Luckily I'm in another state from family so they literally won't see me until I'm 11.5 weeks (Easter weekend).

I've had no luck hiding it. I'm a horrible liar and a pretty heavy drinker. Plus the no caffeine too? Yeah no ones Falling for it.

Try not to meet your friends at night.

Say you drove there and don't want to drink and drive.

Empty out a beer can and fill it up with water.

Tip the bartender to give you a soda water when you say 'gin and tonic'.

Sparkling apple juice also looks very convincing in a champagne glass.

Practice taking a sip of alcohol and spitting it into an empty bottle or coffee cup (without making a mess).

Lastly make sure all your 'drinks' are generic. Your friends might want a sip if it's a fancy looking beverage.

With sickness going around, I tell people that I don't feel well and think like I'm coming down with something (ha ha, like a baby!).

I was at a hen party last weekend and was going to say I had given up alcohol for lent  but I have been so sick and couldnt eat I got away with saying I had a bug.

Restaurants are hard. I'm the queen of water in a beer bottle or "wine" in a Yeti cup around the house. The only way to pull it off at a restaurant is to grab the waiter on the side and make sure they bring you virgin drinks.

I'm waiting to 12 weeks too. But going to tell both sets of parents on mothers day. I be 9/10 weeks then, everyone else after scan. 
On a family meal I had a soft drink in wine glass to look like a rose wine. I've played the driving card and on antibiotics last time too. If you tell a close friend or bar tender they can help cover and order you soft drinks. X
