Buying toys, clothes for your baby?

Just curious, when do you start buying baby stuff for your baby? :) 
I'm at my 21weeks and I find it still early to buy toys/clothes but I'm soo tempted to! And once I start, I know I can't stop! Hahas...

I started once I Found out the gender at my appointment at 15 w5d

We tried for a long time and had early losses, so I have stopped and started before. Eventually I just started picking things up here and here that weren't gendered like books and toys. I feel like I just helps me stay positive. I find out in another 10 days or so what we're having so I'm so looking forward to embracing things.. even if for now it's just buying clothes and toys.

I started buying clothes and small things once I had my 20 week anatomy scan and found out the sex, only cause I can't leave it til last minute money is tight so I have to buy a few things every week. Haven't brought any big furniture though

I'm having trouble not looking at things to buy, and I'm not even 5 weeks! I know it's way too early but I'd rather enjoy every day and look forward to things than worry about something that might not happen. Besides, I'm sure cloth diapers, strollers, carriers, etc. are things I can hold on to and use for whatever pregnancy sticks-- with garage sale season coming up I'm hoping to get some good things!

I started buying carseats, bouncers, glider, diapers, wipes, etc as soon as we had out first Dr appt and I started buying clothes when we had the anatomy scan 2 weeks ago! I scores a bunch of infant toys from black Friday so we are set there too

I have a SIL with a 3yo son and 1yr old niece so they are saving a lot of stuff for us. I'm 13w now and getting a list of stuff we know we will need and I'll be sitting down with SIL soon to see what they have and compare. We probably won start buying until about 20w.
