What's better?

Waiting to find out gender of baby via ultrasound, or through blood tests earlier on?

I'm such an advocate for waiting. I did genetic testing with my daughter last pregnancy and it took all the fun and excitement out of it! They just wrote "Girl" on a piece of paper and handed it to me. This time we waited and it was so magically seeing my lil boy open his legs so we could see what he was. I wouldn't have it any other way!

I did the blood test and yes, it's not as exciting, but I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong so I could still make the decision or carry to term or not.  You can get the blood test at 10 weeks.  Some people love the wait but it was too much anxiety for me to handle

I always loved going to the ultrasound and finding out together. This is my husband and i's third baby and each time we always placed a bet on what we thought we we're having before we went for fun. I just loved the anticipation of finding it and guessing (girl or boy parts!) and seeing it on the screen. seeing his face light up with excitement! It was definitely a bonding moment! I don't think I'll ever forget! ☺️
