Traveling with an infant

My husband and I have family in Hungary and we would love to bring our baby girl out there to visit. She would be about 7 months old when we fly out. The flights would be 11 hours, then a 2 hour layover, then one more 2 hour flight (and reversed for the trip home).

We are first time parents (our baby is due in May) and have no idea what traveling with an infant would be like. We don't know what just HAVING an infant will be like!

Any advice? What does it look like on a "real" level? Jet lag, traveling with strollers, babies on planes etc.
