Is it true that women are in labor the same amount of time their mothers were in labor??

No, not at all.

Nope. My mom had one fast labor (less than 5 hours) and one breech leading to csection.  So far I've had one 36+ hour natural labor and one 24 hour augmentation..

My shortest labor was 2 hours. My moms shortest was 22 hours. So.... no.  My longest was only 6 hours and my first was 4 hours.

No. Thank god! My mother had hellish labors & mine have been awesome....in comparison lol

Nope. Heck I never went into labor with my son lol. My mothers labor with all three of us was pretty short, less than 12 hours in each case. With my sister I believe it was only 6. I was two weeks over due, my sister was two weeks early and my brother was almost right on his date. I was 2 weeks over with my first, this is my second and I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and 0% dilated or effaced. I have a csection scheduled for next Thursday 😁.
