Is it me or him?

Hey ladies I'm 26 weeks pregnant with our first child together. My husband seems to have lost all interest romantically and it hurts me deeply. We maybe have sex once a week and it doesn't have that flair like it used to. I have gained 15 pounds so that could be adding to it but I just don't know what to do. Any advice? I'm desperate.

Honey, you're pregnant. It's not you or him, it's the pregnancy. It's stressful, you don't feel the same, you can't physically do as much in bed, and you have hormones coursing through you that make you see his actions as more deliberate than they probably are. Neither of y'all are wrong, you're just getting pretty far into pregnancy and often once a woman is that far the man will back off a little in the bedroom. They have a ton of irrational fears of hurting the baby, etc. I doubt he finds you any less sexy (most men are think it's sexy as hell when a woman is carrying their baby) or that you've gained too much-- he's probably just stuck in his own head.

Ride it out and see how things are after baby is born and y'all settle into life as a family of 3.

I'll be 30 weeks on Monday (with our first) & we haven't been having sex that frequently. Maybe once or twice a week. He's sincerely afraid of hurting the baby. And a lot of men are.

My hubby was afraid to have sex for a while in fear it would "hurt the baby"... It's a phase they can go through they just want to protect you and baby it will pass

We use to be wild rabbits but now it's once a week  and def not wild, I asked him and he said it's because he is worried to hurt me because everything is so sensitive down there and also that he too its exhausted from all that comes with me being pregnant, we have had a rocky pregnancy.. He is my strength I'm one lucky girl

My husband got a little weird about it the closer to my due date...  He was afraid of hurting me or the baby.

He can not hurt the baby it's not possible no man's penis is large enough to hurt the baby.
