The pill no period?

I recently got married and new to this birth control pill. I started the pill in the middle of my cycle, around ovulation. I haven't started my period, but I'm only on my 3rd week of the packet. Should have I started my period? I'm 10 days late, but still in the middle of the pack...

If you are in the middle of your pack, then no. You should not be expecting your period. Forget your old cycle, your pill controls your cycle now. You should only get your period in your break week (mine doesn't come for 4-5 days after stopping pills on that week) Unless you experience spotting Ofcourse.
But no, the pill is putting certain hormones levels at a place where it shouldn't be 'period ready' if you are half way through.

That happened to me when I started. It was in the middle, and I didn't have my period until I actually reached the end of my pack. No worries.
