Was having some mild contractions that started Wednesday (2.17.16) about every 4 1/2 mins. So I went in and was sent home because they weren't strong enough :-(
So Friday (2.19.16) in the morning my sister, son and I all walked the mall for about two hours and then I made cinnamon stick and cumin tea blended together. Was reading that it helps induce labor and regulate contractions so I decided why not (my dr said I could do natural induction methods with my EDD 2.21.16). Had about 4 cups of the tea mix and the contractions started to regulate about 6pm.
They started to become very uncomfortable around 7/730pm so hoped in the bath. I could still breathe through them so birthed at home until my husband pulled in from work about 8pm. Went to labor and delivery and did most of my laboring in the car!! Yes, in the CAR!!
Pulled in at about 830pm to ER and was rushed to labor and delivery where I was at an 8cm and fully effaced. Had her at 851pm with only 4 pushes, it was INSANE!!! Didn't even get fully admitted until AFTER she was born :-) made it just in time!!
