Help! Last night, around 6, I started getting a sharp upper back pain, like in the back of my left ribs. It made it worse to move, but was manageable until about 2am, when I woke up short of breath because of the pain. Now, at 7am, I can't move at all. Any movement in my upper back gives me a HORRIBLE pain. Takes my breath away, sharp, stabbing pain. It does not hurt to move my neck and it doesn't hurt worse to breathe, so I don't know what exactly is going on. It's Saturday so my dr office is closed and I wouldn't want to rush in somewhere if it's a pulled muscle or something. Just posting to see if anyone else has had this issue and had any advice. I've tried tylenol, ice, and a heating pad, with no relief. I can't sleep or move! Help!
