Tips for making baby active in ultrasound?

I went to an elective place at 13w3 days and baby was so sleepy. The tech did everything she could to get baby to turn over so we could get facial shots and nope! We got to see some limb movement and a weird upside down pose baby put itself in but we weren't able to confirm gender or get facial shots. I go back in two days and wondering what I could do to get baby active and moving a lot lol.

I had 2 sips of Coke before my elective US and she was going NUTS! I didn't think 2 sips of Coke would have done that but she was so active it was hard to get a good picture 😕

With my first pregnancy before the 20 week scan, i drank a small orange juice and she was moving so much that they couldn't get the shots they needed and I had to come back. This time I just sipped some juice on the way and the baby was moving but not crazy. Don't go too overboard with the sugar. lol

I have an elective one done today at exactly 13 weeks and when j made the appt they told me don't eat any carbs and drink some caffeine before the appt to make sure baby is moving...baby moved all right. His little legs were kicking like crazy an we got amazing photos

I ate dinner two hours before going. I also ate a tiny piece of chocolate 10 minutes before. She was moving like crazy but kept her legs crossed. So the specialist had me jump up and down several times, cough, move my belly like I'm a belly dancer. It was a bit ridiculous but worth it as in the end she managed to see we are having a girl!

When i called about getting an elective one, they said drink something sweet right beforehand. Also you can have a small amount of caffeine what I read was no more than 200mg a day. I usually avoid it all together, but one of those starbucks drinks at the gas station has 90 mg. I would drink that, caffeine and sweet.
