Boyfriend Dilemma!

So my current boyfriend, we've been dating for about two months now. Yesterday I was sleeping in his bed and when I woke up, I realized I got me period and I got blood all over his bed! He freaked out and said it was disgusting and gross and made me get off the bed.

I kinda wanna break up with him now, because it's absolutely normal and natural, but I feel like maybe that's too rash? Am I being too extreme? Thanks for the advice!
