Can anyone tell me why??

They are going to start doing an ultrasound  every two weeks till my baby tavian is born and I'm 27.4 weeks pregnant..  could there be something wrong or are they just checking

You should definitely ask, that's not common at all.

That seems like a lot but some doctors do ultrasounds every 2 weeks at the end just to check the babies size and position. It's not a common practice but that could be what your doctor does. I would call Monday to double check.

Not to scare you but they say no ultrasound is good news. Your doctor should of told you why they want to do ultrasounds that much. I would ask them why

Only reason I had continuous ultrasounds for a while was due to a cervical issue. I would talk to your doctor. It's not a common practice to do so

They didn't tell you why??? That's odd! It's not normal for a regular pregnancy with no complications.  I have mines every 2 weeks but I'm high risk and have been the entire pregnancy. They are keeping a close eye on my cervix right now. Theres definitely a reason why though. I asks so many questions at each appointment so I always know whats going on. Make sure you never leave unsure about something.  Its your body, your baby and you need to know whats going on!!!

I had them like at the end too to check the baby's position & weight/size. I had a big baby the was also transverse (sideways) until 37 weeks

I'm getting ultrasounds every 2 weeks because I am having problems with the blood flow from my placenta to the baby... And they have to monitor her because I may need to deliver early (im 31w).  I'd ask your doctor why you need to have them- I hope everything is okay though.

Are you high risk? I have hypothyroidism and was considered high risk so they gave me continuous ultrasounds. Is your baby big or on the small side? Definitely ask the doctor. Good luck

Didn't they tell you anything? You should ask the midwife or whoever made the decision.
