Anyway, I really have no idea if this is considered TMI but just approach with caution? I'm trying to be detailed!

My question is about when to consider your period to be finished. I read a long time ago that your period is considered finished when nothing else is coming out. That includes brown discharge. I know that the brown indicates old blood and I have experienced that at the beginning of my periods. But it happens EVERY time at the end. I will use this time around as an example...

Day 1: Normal

Day 2: Normal

Day 3: Normal

Day 4: Normal

Day 5: Brown Discharge

Day 6: Brown Discharge

Day 7: Then there wasn't anything so I thought it was done until a few hours pass and I notice there is brown discharge. Now at 12:00 am (February 21st), there is a TINY bit of discharge. So I'm guessing later today there will be none.  

Does this information mean that my period technically lasted 7 days? I'm used to them lasting 6-7 days but I'm wondering if I've been doing this wrong! 😂 Even if it's technically the next day, I wouldn't consider there to be an 8th day because there is really barely anything there and it happened in the last 10 minutes. If there was a ton, then I would consider it 8 days long this time ...I like to have the information I put in my tracking calendars (yes PLURAL!) to be extremely accurate, if you can't tell! 😅
