Abreva while pregnant? Cold sore...

Does anyone know if it's safe to use Abreva while pregnant? I am 6 weeks and know it's a crucial and sensitive time for baby so I wanted to see if anyone knows?!  Or else what have people used?

Abreva should be safe, but call your doctor and he can get you a prescription for pills to help get that blister gone faster... also you can put lemon juice and salt on a paper towel and hold that on it for a little while. It burns like and tastes ridiculously horrible, but it does help dry it up. I'd also put Abreva on after it

I've had two this pregnancy, my doctor said its due to all the changes in my hormones. She said abreva was safe to use. I tried the abreba and it didn't work as well as the CVS brand. The CVS brand cleared it right up within two days.

I called my doctor and they prescribed me some medicine to take instead of Abreva. It was two pills, took one in the morning and one at night, and it relieved the itching and pressure almost immediately. My cold sore was gone within 2 days and mine got pretty bad fairly quickly.
