Diaper stock up?

Question

Has anyone started a stock pile of diapers? I am trying to figure out how many of each size to stock. I'm going to target to coupon today and was going to get a bunch in a few different brands.

I have 1 size of each in a variety of kinds. Me and my husband always make sure to get the biggest box we can find in the size were getting to help in the long run. I have diapers all the way up to size 4 simply cause I know ill wake up one morning and need a new size but won't have it. So I made sure that wouldn't happen.

Well I went to target tonight and I am now up to 
88 newborn
572 size 1
And 551 size 2
I think I will be alright for a little while. I also have a ton of wipes but I know I have to get more of those since I have a 2 year old too. She was a preemie so I have no clue how many of each size to get. She still fits in a size 3 diaper.

Don't get too many newborns. They go through them the fastest. They are in size 1 and size 2 for a while. I wouldn't buy big boxes of brands you don't know are best. Babies can be sensitive to some brands but mostly you need to just know which ones are best at preventing leaks. I've always used Pampers swaddlers because they are the best and every single friend I have all use the same and never had any good experiences with any other brand.

You can always exchange if you get too many of one size. We're have twins and have at least 2000 in sizes from premie to 2.

M6 last shower was at the bar I work at, my boss offered a free drink for every box of diapers. I never bought a diaper till my daughter was close to a year and a half. The only nb I needed were the ones the hospital gave me & maybe one small pack. Size one went quick too. We spent most our time in size 3. Remember you can return & exchange. I also found pampers were best for size 1-3 & I liked huggies more size 4 & 5, when baby was walking and mobile.
