Baby kicking kidney??

For the last few days I've been getting intermittent severe pain in my lower back around my right kidney. It's not persistent or timeable but it hurts pretty badly. I googled a little bit and it looks like babies can, in fact, kick your kidneys but I've never experienced this in my other two pregnancies not have I heard of anyone else who has. Have any of you dealt with this??
