Period and still pregnant?

I saw a question like this b4 but only one person answered. So ill raise the question again. Is it possible to have AF and still be pregnant?
Also...
How soon after conceiving can you hear the baby's heart beat?

My sister in law had her period for the first three months with all three of her baby's, only was she know she was pregnant was threw a blood test.

Is it possible? Maybe. .however most of the time,  if ur pregnant and start bleeding,  it's due to a misscarige.
Also,  in most cases u can hear the heart beat at your first prenatal visit at 8 weeks. Some women are able to to get the ultrasound and heart beat earlier,  it all depends on what YOUR body is like. ..and if ur considered high risk or not. .

I heard the heart beat at 6 wks. I had bleeding prior to that at about 4or 5 wks thinking I was having a miscarriage but they said I was just getting rid of old blood and that it is normal.

Not sure if I was the one who answered your last post, but It happened to me, had what I thought was a normal 'period' except it was about 3 days instead of my normal 5. But flow, clots, cramping was all like normal. 9 days after the start of it my boobs were still super sore and I had a bit of pink/brown spotting which wasnt normal. Took a test and I was pregnant. 
It's not called a period though it was either heavy implantation bleeding or break through bleeding. Both my mom and grandma bled every month for 3 months around the time of their expected period. With both of their first kids.

Was on period wen I found out I was preg in June...... Saw heart beat at 7 weeks mc few days later I don't know what caused this hope u are not going through it if so see a doc ASAP

Not to scare you, and probably/usually isn't the case. But I had an ectopic pregnancy and I had a "period" or what I thought was a period. It was 2 weeks later than when I would have gotten my period normally. I didn't test because I was scared of finding out I was pregnant and then having a miscarriage.
