Anyone ever done a fasting diet? 
Fruit fasting?
Juice fasting? 
Water fast?

I think it would be better to do a cleanse. A fast is. It good because in most cases your body is eating at itself because you are depleted of the nutrients you need and it has to get its energy from somewhere.

A cleanse is eating a specific diet to help jump start a lifestyle change. It helps your body and gut down the right path and I believe it is the safer and easier option on your body.

Fasting is okay for religious reasons, but I wouldn't recommend it just for cleansing. I have done food fasts (only fluids) several times, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than religious purposes. Just my opinion

Hell no! And it's not really healthy either. My dad does a juice fast every two years or so and loses 30-40 pounds in 1-3 months. Then immediately gains it back once he stops. It's not good for long term weight loss. Maybe if you do just one day a week so that you don't deplete your body of all of the nutrients that you need.
