Period with Seasonique

I just started taking the generic form on Seasonique a month ago. I'm only supposed to have a period every 3 months, but I'm going on day 8 of bleeding. Is this normal when starting birth control up? I've been on this bc before a while ago, and I don't Rememebr if it happened before.
