My baby does not have an heartbeat?

Should I be worried when I went to the emergency room because I had a little bit of cramping it's my first child so I'm super worried. I talked to the doctors and they told me that I'm probably having a miscarriage because they do not hear my baby's heartbeat the doctor says that it can't aslo be just that was too early. I was 5 weeks 4 days. They told me to come back on Monday I am super scared should I be?

I had a similar situation with my first baby. I was 5 weeks 3 days and there wasn't a fetal pole (heartbeat) went back a week later and it was there!!! It's hard not to panic but just breathe!! I hope everything works out for you! ❤️

Emergency doctors know nothing about pregnancy. Honestly telling you your miscarring at not even 6 weeks because there's no heartbeat? Idiots! Most people don't see a heart beat until at least 7 weeks/possibly 8. Don't worry, just make an apt with your OB

You generally can't hear a heart beat until 6 weeks.

I was told the same thing at 6 weeks and went back in three days abd heartbeat was there! I'm 24 weeks now! Have hope!

I didn't see the heart beat until 6w6d. I didn't see anything but the gestational sacs at 5w6d. Hang in there.

Not at all that is way way way to early I didn't hear mine till almost 10 weeks!

You can't see the heartbeat at 5w4d. Give it a week and they should be able to see it on ultrasound. They won't hear it across your abdomen (with a hand held Doppler) until 10-12 weeks.
