I think it depends on the couple, if both are committed and enter a relationship with the mindset that they want to be with this person for the long run then it could be consider "serious" after a week or even less. That's just my 2 cents lol

We were serious after being together for about 3 months. After the first couple months, you lose the overall infatuation for the person, and move onto real love. This is the make or break month. If you don't love each other, you guys won't stay together. If you do, you'll stay together for a while.
