He's here!!!

FTM here. I was so scared that my Prince would arrive after my due date of 2/20. My last two (2) appointments 2/8 and 2/17, I was not dilated at all. I was becoming very discouraged. However, late 2/18 I began having contractions moving from 5 minutes apart to 3 minutes apart.

At 130am 2/19 I couldn't take it anymore and headed to the hospital. Once admitted (around 3am) it was determined I was 4 cm dilated. This when on for about 5 and half hours at which time I was dilated to 6 cm at 830am. I became extremely excited that things were progressing. Then things came to halt when my OBGYN said we needed to do an emergency C section because my son's heart rate was declining.

At 928am 2/19 he was born!!!!

I quickly found out his foot was entangled in the umbilical cord.

I love him so much!!!!
