Would you stop taking the pill if your boyfriend broke up with you?

Basically my boyfriend broke up with me 3 days ago and I went on the pill a bit over a month ago so we could have safe sex, but now I feel like I should just stop taking it because there's no point. What would you do?

My boyfriend is in the navy, and I decided to go off my birth control because I feel like it actually makes me horny sometimes. I felt like if I was off of it it would deter me even further from the thought of cheating, even though most boys repulse.

When I broke up with my ex I never stopped taking it. I only stopped taking it when I was in a new and very serious relationship because it was making me bleed more often than not.  But, it was a little blessing is disguise because my periods regulated back to normal very quickly, and we decided to ttc 3 months later. First month trying, and now I'm 14 and a half weeks :)

Answer

Depends, really. If it's been reducing acne or decreasing your symptoms or giving you good benefits, I'd keep taking. If it's not really improving anything, then just finish the pack you're on, and then don't take it anymore.
