When to get an ultrasound.

Question

My mom will
Be coming to Alaska from Ohio to visit me and her granddaughters. 
I can get an ultrasound when ever I want to.. The issue is the cost.. So I'm only getting one more because I've already had so many.

Should I get the ultrasound whole my mom is here? I'm 24 weeks and one day when she gets here. And i be 25 weeks when she leaves.

My question is when does the baby start looking More so like one parent or the other?

And should I get it at 24-25 weeks or wait until later on. I just thought it'd be cool for my mom to see her first grandson in ultrasound. She's so amazed with 3D- and 4D she'd go nuts.

I'm probably going to get negative comments but:
Go with your mom!! Take her and go it's so much fun. Yes, past 32 weeks you can see features better. However, you can still see stuff at your time frame too. We went at 24 weeks and my little guy started peeing- the tech said she'd never had a baby do that. Then he started moving his hands- it was so fun to see him. I just think if you're close to your mom,it's worth it now too. Good luck! Have fun 😀

It's not until later in the 3rd trimester that their features start to really show.

They made me wait until 32 weeks to do my 3D/4D. Every place is different though! They are amazing and your mom would LOVE it! My MIL sure did! ❤️

I would wait until you're in your last 5 weeks of pregnancy if you've already had some and you're wanting to see baby's features. One of my friends got her 4d one at 23 weeks and my best friend got hers at 36, the difference is crazy. The baby looks so much like her 36 weeks ultrasound it's scary!
