Kombucha while pregnant?

Does anyone have any insight as to if it's safe to drink Kombucha while pregnant?

I drink it all the time. I'd venture a guess that if you asked a doctor, they'd say no because it isn't pasteurized. I live on the edge, though; all those good probiotics when I don't feel like eating much else are too valuable not to drink it. I also make and eat my own fermented foods during pregnancy because of the immune system benefits (and I crave that salty taste!). I take everything "modern medicine" says with a grain of salt; most of it is CYA for them and very little to do with the patient's best interest. Hope this helps!

I've been drinking the gingerade kombucha, helps nausea and better than ginger ale 😊

I drink a bottle a day.  I also drink kefir. No problems here.  =)
