Birth control

I am 17 and I am sexually active with my boyfriend, we have had about 2 slip ups where we had unprotected sex and I just can't risk it anymore! I want to go on birth control but I have no idea how to bring it up also could you explain the process to buy them and whatnot? Thank you x
