Diva cup?

What the heck is a diva cup and how the heck do you use it? I've been seeing it all over tv and I'm just curious....what's the difference in using a tampon ?

It's a silicone cup that sits low in your vagina. There are other brands too, diva cup is just one. They differ to tampons in that they hold more menstrual blood, so you can leave them in for longer. They have no chemicals or bleach in like tampons do, so no risk of TSS. They're environmentally friendly, as you can keep the same one for years. You wash it when you empty it and sterilise it however often you like. They help to reduce cramps and make your periods over quicker. I literally cannot rate mine enough (I have a mooncup). Only downside is that there is a learning curve to inserting them and creating the seal, but once you've got it you're good to go!

I just got one and I LOVE IT! So much better than tampons. And will save you money too! I looked up the diva cup online and there is a lot of good videos and reading material all about how to use it and what not. I'm still learning to use it, but I think I've just about got it down, and it is so nice!!! GET ONE! 😊
