My girl's eyes are a little yellow and her skin is too, I told her doctor about how I was concerned about her yellowish eyes and they did blood work today and everything is just fine thank God!

Yes was a 10 when we left the hospital. My pedi sent us home with a lamp to lie, my son hated it 🙁 got up to 16 and thankfully they had a blanket as an alternative that way we could hold him and put him in his swing. Thankfully after about 5 days it went down.

My little girl had jaundice she didn't have it when we got discharged from the hospital but my doctor noticed it on her first doctors appointment. They had her go in that whole week to check her levels on the third day they had me take her to the hospital but they discharged her because her levels went down from what the doctors lab had said. It was scary seeing them iv my little one and she was brave getting her foot poked so micch. It's now going away. the doctor recommended me giving her sunlight and breastfeeding her every 2 hours. He mentioned that jaundice was more common in breastfeed babies.

I just had my third baby. All my children has jaundice. But this time, our pediatrician sent her in for blood work and called us within hours urging me to take her to the ER because her levels were so high. With my other kids, I was told to put them in the sun a few times a day and they would be fine. This terrified me. No one wants to take a 5 day old baby to the ER. Needless to say I was hysterical. By the time we reached the ER, they of course poked at her little foot AGAIN and her levels dropped to the safe zone. We were sent home with a billi blanket light and have been fine since. Apparently jaundice can cause long term brain issues if levels are high enough. Definitely listen to whatever your pediatrician says to do. Good luck
