Fingertip dilated?

What exactly does this mean? Having a lot of pain tonight & on the 17th I was only fingertip dilated they said.. honestly I really have no clue what this means. Please help!

Pretty much you're about the size of the blueberry right now. Your cervix is starting to open up for the baby's way out. As you can see there's still quite a bit of ways to go but you're right on your way 😀💕

It means like 1/2 cm dilated I think because a whole finger dilated means 1cm...good luck

I was told it was open on the outside but closed by the babies head. I was told its normal if its not your first pregnancy

That means 1cm dilated. You can stay like that for weeks though
