Confused by this period

We have been ttc since November and my period has been on time and 'normal' since coming off the pill. This month is appeared to come on time but for 3 days now it's only been 'spotting' and I've not got any cramps at all which never happens! 
Should I take a pregnancy test or just wait to see if my period makes a proper show?!
