Metformin success?

Did anyone who was not overweight and had pcos or was annovulstiory start metformin and have luck ovulating with it?

I have had amazing success with Metformin. And I am technically a little underweight for my height, and have "slight PCOS" (whatever that means). But it helped regulate my cycle (from 34 days down to 28) and ovulate! I have only been in it for 2 months so far and I ovulated both months. We actually conceived in January, only my second month on metformin, but I MC'd last week. 😔

I am staying positive though. And I do believe Metformin helped me tons. I also take pregnitude. Has your Doctor mentioned that? It helps you produce viable eggs.

The two combined have been really good for my body. ☺️

I did and it worked really well for me. I took it for a month and got pregnant. Unfortunately it didn't stick. But I hope it works better for you!!

I'm on metformin and have pcos, I'm not sure if I've ovulated yet but I've had a period each month as before I didn't even have a period. Hope this helps a little xx

Metformin doesn't always make you ovulate! I've been on it for 7 years now. The first four years I had irregular periods got pregnant after four years of trying and we've been trying the past 3 years for number two! 3 rounds of clomid and two rounds of femara.
