After having tried everything to get labor started it all seemed useless. I was 40+3 and my due date 2/11 had came and gone. On 2/13 around 8 pm i started noticing tightning in by belly which I quickly blew off since i had experienced those several days before but nothing that was close to becoming real labor. I went to bed thinking i could sleep through them and they would be gone but around 11 pm i woke up because the contractions were becoming to painful, i started to time them and by 12 midnight my contractions were fairly 3-4 minutes apart. I phoned my mom telling her it was time and by 12:45 my boyfriend and I were on our way to the hospital. By 1:15 i was at the hospital and was dialated to a 6. I labored naturally and at 2:30am was at an 8. I knew it would be soon that would get to meet my daughter and that was all i had in mind. Soon after i was checked again and was 9 1/2 dialated the doctor and nurses came in and quicky prepared and finally it was time to push.... 2 pushes after and my sweet baby girl was born at 3:08 am on Valentines day.!
