Lifting weights while ttc?

I'm 33 and do an intense kettle bell class twice a week, plus I play on a women's volleyball league. Have any of you heard the effects it could have while ttc?  And, what happens if I did get knocked up but don't know for a few weeks and continue to workout?  Could it harm the baby?  Thanks ladies! PS - I'm asking because I am currently 5 days late.... I'm not going to get my hopes up though because for the last year of ttc, AF has always showed her ugly face ;( lol

If you do intense or vigrous exercise, it makes it harder to get pregnant. If you get pregnant while doing intense or vigrous exercise, it puts strain on the fetus. Falling down during volleyball can be dangerous, falling down can be dangerous during a pregnancy period.

I'm a good enough player that I don't use knee pads and hardly ever hit the floor.

You should consult your doctor. But I believe you should be just fine as long as you arent dropping weights on you 😊
