So my boyfriend and I have been together since we were in 8th grade. We grew up together, going to the same small town school, and have been inseperable. We will have our 6th year anniversary in April. We are both 20, work full time jobs, we like our "toys" (four wheelers, dirtbikes, snowmobiles) and currently have payments on them.  I have the four wheeler with a payment and he has the other two with payments. We both have truck payments as well. But I think it's time for the next step and every one seems to think I'm crazy for it. I want to get our own place. I know I could still afford it on top of other bills. He wants to wait longer and build the first house we live in together. I just feel like we've been together for so long, that it's time. My dad is still pretty strict with me, seeing how I still live with my parents. I still have to ask my dads permission to do some things, and don't often stay at my boyfriends. He also lives with his. He just doesn't really seem like he cares about living with me, like I care about it. I feel like we've been together long enough, and have our lives in order. Should I feel like this or am I over reacting? 😔
