Guy caught wearing his wedding ring

Ok. So this guy i have been seeing and sleeping with since October is still married but separated for a several months now after a second attempt to mend their marriage. She lives in another state. Why is it the other night after we had sex...in the shower was his wedding ring handing on the hook...like as if he had worn it that day and took it off to shower. Should i keep seeing him or no?
