Can the use of marijuana interfere with TTC?

Answer

Consuming marijuana has no effect on the reproductive system, SMOKING it can be harmful however. I know far too many who conceived while actively and habitually using marijuana to believe it does any reproductive harm. I had been consuming about 4g per day for 8-10 years when I became pregnant the first time. I don't advocate using during pregnancy though because it can cross the placenta.

It can affect fertility. Of course you'll hear success stories of people who used pot and still got pregnant... But why would you risk it???

I don't believe if affects fertility, but if you are TTC I suggest quitting "cold turkey." Once you are pregnant, everything you do to your body goes to the baby and that is certainly not good for baby. Ask any doctor.
