Is there a buying time line somewhere?

Has anyone ever seen a what to buy when kind of time line for baby and maternity stuff? It'd be way helpful to have one. Seems like there's so much we can't buy until we find out about the gender, but I don't want to be rushing last seccond.

If you haven't heard of/seen one, what would you suggest as a good buying guide? What can we buy early? What's worth waiting to get?

Most big items can be purchased ahead of time because things like furniture are fairly gender neutral anyway. You can also get gender neutral medium sized items like strollers, carseat, swings, pack n play, walker, high chair.... All that stuff. Get it as soon as you can.

Now.... Here's the really useful information.... Kohls.com usually has fantastic prices on medium/large baby items. Baby stuff is commonly on sale on their site. Right now (or coming up really soon.... Google when) they're going to be doing their kohls cash promo again (which isnt too often so snag it up when you can)
 For every $50 you spend, you'll get $10 kohls cash to spend. SSSOOOOOO...... Tbh i bought most of the big things before we found out the sex of the baby as i wanted to get unisex so i could reuse them when i had another baby. Its all down to you
