The only way to tell them is to tell them the truth straight out. I was 17 when I got pregnant and I was terrified of telling my mom. But I came out and told her straight out that I was pregnant and she cried a little, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. This totally depends on if you're ACTUALLY pregnant, how old you are, if your financially independent, if you're emotionally independent, how laid back each parent is, and how much you trust them. 
Parents can sometimes surprise us. If one parent would freak out a lot more than another, it may be a good idea to talk to the calmer one first. If a parent was the one to talk to you about sex, that may be the one to approach. If you're concerned about how to break the news, it's always a good idea to ask for an afternoon or evening to go out and have coffee or bake or something to keep your hands busy while you talk.
