TTC following D&C

Yesterday I had my D&C after finding out on Friday that our baby's heart stopped beating at 6 weeks. We are keen to start TTC again immediately. We were just going to carry on as normal without contraception as soon as the bleeding has stopped. Did anyone conceive quickly following miscarriage/D&C. I guess I'm just looking for some hope as its been so hard lately.
