Anyone heard or used Sher Institute?

I have had one failed cycle of IVF with ICSI, and after my doctor told me that my husband's sperm quality is slow bad, that I may need to consider a donor (which he also added he had seen ruin marraiges) or adoption. It was a very bleak conversation.

That was 3 weeks ago, and I am now looking ahead, and considering using a different doctor for my next try.

I found the Sher Institute of America and their stats look great on paper. I have a consultation with them on the 9th March.

Any other recommendations for Manhattan?

I had my first appointment at Sher last week in NYC. They had come very highly recommended by a friend of a friend - she had much better things to say about Shee than anyone had to say about RMA or NYU. I found the place very thorough and no nonsense. I just had an initial consult but have a series of tests lined up in the coming weeks and have already gotten emails from both the doctors and staff with requests for information. I can't tell you much more, but so far it's been a good experience.

Hi. I am also currently working with Sher Institute right now. We were recommended by our very good friends who did 7 IUI cycles with RMA of NJ and then went to Sher of NJ and got pregnant on their first IVF try. Just had our first IUI done on May 4th and are currently in our TWW. Any luck with your consultation?

Thanks, I was there today, the seem so professional. I go back Monday for a fluid ultra sound. Nerve wracking. Sounds like we'll be doing IVF with PICSI this time.
