UTERINE FIBROID? A little freaked out can anyone elaborate??

So when I had my son I remember my OBGYN mentioned a uterine fibroid. Never heard anything about it since. I finally got access to my medical records online and I read my first ultrasound with this pregnancy (pregnancy #2) and the tech mentioned the fibroid! My midwife never discussed it and I was goingn to call, but it's Friday so I will have to wait till Monday! I googled it and it seems like it's just a mass but I am currently pregnant and wondered how it could affect my pregnancy or if I want to get pregnant in the future???? (I will call her Monday but looking for piece of mind over the weekend)....

It's nothing to worry about. At my first ultrasound I was told I had some fibroids as well and when I went again they where gone. Apparently they are very common and they're ill monitor them as your pregnancy progresses. Doctor said they mostlikley disappear after the baby is born.

I have one and am currently 22+3 weeks it hasn't caused any issues. I actually forgot I had it until my dr noted it at my 20 week appointment. She said they'll just watch it to make sure it doesn't grow during the pregnancy and that they typically don't cause any problems. If your dr was concerned they definitely would have brought it up. I wouldn't stress it just ask about it at your next appt.
