C Section?

So I just had my C section two days ago and I notice that i still look pregnant and swollen from everywhere. Will my stomach and the swollen go down anytime soon I don't want look like this anymore. Has any of you mommies experience this before after c section.

It's normal, your bodies jsut been through MAJOR surgery, they've cut through all your layers of skin, nerves, fat etc etc, moved all your organs about to get baby out, yes it will go down but it will take a while Hun, rest as much as you can and don't over do it!xx

Oh it takes at least a week for the swelling to go down. They pump you full of so much fluids it takes your body a while to flush it all out.

Yes I been through it and trust me you will be back to normal soon. Is only been two days give yourself time.

Yes! ☺ I still had a belly as they pump you with air but after 3 weeks it was almost gone. It may just take slightly longer as you can only move around very little and slowly at first

Dnt be so hard on yourself this is the part no one tells you about . It's a shock when you still look 5/6 months pregnant after you deliver . It takes 2/3 weeks for some women specially after a ccsection since they pump you full of fluid and drugs to do the surgery. My legs and feet looked unreal to the point they hurt . It went away around the 12/13 day pp . Keep in mind you just did a wonderfully beautiful thing being able to conceive and deliver a health child ! Always remember this to shall pass . Keep your head up 😊

You will be swollen for a bit since you had an IV and everything. My belly stuck out for a few months and I had a little pouch above the scar for a while. I'm 10 months pp today and my body is almost back to normal except for a few stretch marks.

I still had the belly after 6 months. :) it was summer time and i was wearing a full body suit and someone asked me when was i due 😂. I told her 6 months ago, and pointed to my husband with the stroller. 😜

Yes- it took me a month to lose all the swelling properly. Now I just need to lose the belly fat! I found looking pregnant after giving birth the worst part!
