How uncommon is our boy name?

So we have decided in the name ewan for our son. It is a name that my husband has loved forever and we are finally using it. I'm wondering how "weird" of a name it seems to people? I know most people have heard of the actor ewan mcgregor. But for us naming our son ewan will it seem that strange?

A very normal name here in the UK, Ewan is Scottish, and Iwan is the Welsh way of spelling it - I think it's lovely :)

My friends boy is euan spelt with the u instead of w, It's a good name because it's not unheard of and out there but it's not common
