First appointment questions??

My first appointment is today!! I am 8 w 4 d and am really excited but have no idea what to expect. What kind of questions should I ask? How long will it be? Will I get to hear/see the heartbeat?

Mine is today too. My doctor said they will take blood, ask general health questions, do a physical, and ultrasound.

any concerns or any possible question you may have. this is my 3rd so I'm asking about pitocin practices (had a horrible experience with my 1st), episotomy(I do not want one), & how long they will let me go before intervention. I do not want intervention until 40 weeks unless there is strong medical reason why. I had 1st dr push it early.

Each doctor is different, mine doesn't have an ultrasound machine so she sent me for an ultrasound on Friday at 7w5d and then I have my appointment tomorrow at 8w2d so she will have the results from it already.

Every appointment they will require a urine sample and then this first appointment I was told it would be a full physical with pap and then discussing what I want to do for the birth either OB or midwife so we can set up whatever referrals need to happen. Then set up my 12 weeks ultrasound appointment as well. I wasn't told if I was getting blood drawn but I assume that I will be.
