Minors , Parents and BC
Should parents be notified if a minor gets birth control without their parents knowledge? Should there be a minimum and maximum age that defines if the parent is told or not? Ex. 15 and under, a parent has to be notified 16+ parent notification isn't necessary.
If yes, why? If no, why? Bonus: Would notifying the parent be a breach in Patient-Physician confidentiality?
