I'm only 6 weeks along, but casually told my mom that I MIGHT tell the family (my siblings and grandparents) on Easter because everyone will be in the same place, and I'll be 10 weeks by then.

Today, I received texts from multiple family members asking if I knew what my mom's "huge surprise" for Easter was.

She's a terrible gossip, so I'm shocked she hasn't told everyone, but I'm so angry that she told everyone they have to come to Easter dinner because SHE has a huge surprise.

A million things could happen... I could lose the baby before then.

I was so angry that I ended up telling my soon to be SIL via text because my mom is also trying to take over her wedding and I needed to vent to her.

Am I just being sensitive or was my mom way out of line?
