Birth control + weight gain?

Question

So I am going for birth control within the next couple of days and was wondering what y'all have experienced.

I've only been on the pill. I'm afraid to get on anything else for fear of weight gain, but I am so damn forgetful.

Any suggestions?

I was on birth control (Lo Orgestal) for about a year and a half and I gained about 50 pounds and I'm still trying to loose it :( but it's better than getting pregnant haha

I think the pill is the best choice tbh. I'm forgetful too so I put a reminder on my phone for everyday at the same time. I can't say I'm a pro tho because I've only been on it for a month and so far no weight gain.
